Actually, WN02 may consume more power after it has been connected to Wi-Fi and used normally. This is because the Wi-Fi module and background system remain powered to keep the device online, maintain App control, synchronize device status, and prepare for upcoming scheduled functions.
Even when the light and sound are turned off, the device may still consume some battery if it remains connected or running in the background. Under normal conditions, WN02 can support more than 6 hours of continuous use when fully charged, but the actual duration may vary depending on brightness, volume, Wi-Fi signal, and usage settings.
For long playback in a fixed location, we recommend keeping the device connected to power. For short naps or temporary use in different rooms at home, battery use is suitable. During a power outage, the battery can also work as backup power. If you plan to use it portably for a longer time, please fully charge the device first.
This behavior is considered normal under connected use and is not a confirmed product defect or a known quality issue. If your device also has symptoms such as charging failure, abnormal heat, or shutting down shortly after being fully charged, please let us know and we will further check it for you.
