We are truly sorry for this experience. Hygiene is especially important for baby products, and we completely understand your concern after seeing spots or noticing an odor.
We’ve carefully analyzed the issue and have outlined potential cause along with solutions for your reference:
Cause:
During use, the bottle washer comes into contact with water, bottle residue, and moist air. If moisture remains inside for an extended period, or if milk residue, mineral buildup, or debris accumulates around the water tank, spray arms, residue cup/filter, drainage area, or chamber bottom, it may increase the risk of mold spots or odor.
Solutions:
Please pause use and perform a thorough cleaning:
Step 1: Remove detachable parts such as the water tank, tank lid, spray arms, racks, and residue cup/filter;
Step 2:clean them with warm water and mild detergent. For mineral or milk buildup, you may use white vinegar, citric acid, or Momcozy descaling tablets.
Step 3: Rinse thoroughly with clean water, run an empty cleaning/sterilizing cycle, and leave the lid open until the machine is completely dry.
Maintenance methods:
1. We recommend draining all residual water from the water tank after every use.
2. Regularly scrub the food residue filter, spray arm nozzles and drainage corners inside the inner tank.
3. Open the lid to air-dry the unit, avoid long-term sealed storage.
4. If you live in a hard-water area, descale the machine on a regular basis, and distilled water is the preferred option.
5. Before long-term storage, perform a full deep cleaning of the entire machine and make sure it is thoroughly dried.
If the solutions above cannot help you, to assess this faster, please provide the manual support of the following info:
1. order number/proof of purchase
2. product label pic
3. affected-area photos/videos, overall chamber photo, water tank/residue cup/drainage area photos.
