Possible Cause:
TH01 button functions depend on whether the thermometer is on or off and whether the button is pressed briefly or held. The thermometer also will shut down automatically after about 10 seconds without operation.
Solution:
1. Install two new AAA batteries and confirm that the positive (+) and negative (-) ends match the markings inside the battery compartment.
2. Short-press the Measure button once to turn on the display. Test the buttons while the screen is on, because some functions do not respond in the same way when the thermometer is off.
3. Short-press the Measure button to take a reading. Short-press the Memory/Baby button while powered on to switch Baby Mode. Short-press the Mute/°C/°F button to change the temperature unit.
4. For functions that require a long press, hold the button for the full specified time: hold the Mute/°C/°F button for 4 seconds to switch mute/unmute; hold Measure and Memory/Baby together for 5 seconds to enter temperature compensation.
5. If a button still does not respond, remove both batteries for 30 seconds, reinstall them correctly, and repeat one simple button test. This reset clears stored memories and restores settings to default.
6. Check whether the button is physically stuck or difficult to press. Do not use sharp objects or apply liquid around the buttons. If one button still fails after the battery reset, contact Momcozy Support and provide a short video showing the display and button operation.
If the problem cannot be solved still, please contact the manual support.
