Solution:
1. Open the battery cover and replace both batteries with two new AAA batteries. Do not mix a new battery with an old battery.
2. Confirm that the positive (+) and negative (-) ends of both batteries match the markings inside the battery compartment.
3. Make sure the battery compartment and contacts are clean and completely dry, then close the battery cover securely.
4. Short-press the Measure button once. Do not only test the Memory/Baby or Mute/°C/°F button when checking whether the thermometer can power on.
5. If the screen remains blank, remove both batteries for 30 seconds, reinstall them, and short-press the Measure button again. If a low-battery symbol appears or the thermometer turns off after about 30 seconds, replace the batteries again with a confirmed new pair.
6. If the display remains completely blank with two confirmed new batteries installed in the correct direction, contact Momcozy Support and provide a photo of the battery installation and a short power-on video.
Note:
The thermometer normally shuts down automatically after approximately 10 seconds without operation; this does not indicate a power fault. Remove the batteries if the thermometer will not be used for more than two months.
