Problem description
The carrier is too big / baby slides down. What should I do?
Solution
- Tighten the waist belt
- Adjust the waist panel width using the visual adjustment scale — set it to the narrowest setting appropriate for your baby's leg length, so leg openings hug the thighs.
- Lift your baby up so their bottom sits deep in the carrier seat, with their chest close to your body and their back properly supported by the carrier.
- Tighten the shoulder straps until your baby is held securely and close to your body. The straps should feel snug and comfortable without restricting your movement.
Note
If the carrier still feels noticeably loose after these adjustments, verify that your baby meets the minimum weight requirement of 7 lb, or consider a carrier designed for smaller/younger infants.
