Problem description
My baby slides down in the carrier. How can I prevent this?
Solution
- Before placing your baby in the carrier, make sure it is properly tightened.
- Spread the fabric evenly across your shoulders, back, waist, and abdomen to help distribute your baby's weight comfortably and evenly.
- Once your baby is in the carrier, tighten all adjustment points until your baby is snug and secure against your body. Your baby should be close enough to kiss.
- For Baby Wrap Carrier-BJ001, pull the fabric through the rings until all slack is removed and make sure there is no slack. For Adjustable Buckle Baby Wrap - BJ003, tighten both the waist belt and shoulder straps until the carrier feels secure.
- If the excess fabric tends to loosen during use, wrap the excess fabric once around the waist belt to help keep it in place. If needed, you can also use a small fabric clip (such as a pacifier clip) to temporarily secure the loose fabric tail.
Note
If your baby continues to slip down in the carrier after proper adjustment, please contact Momcozy Customer Support and provide the following information:
- Your baby's age and weight
- Which carrying position are you using (a photo using a pillow for demonstration is also acceptable)
- Whether the slipping happens immediately or only after wearing the carrier for a while
- Photos or a short video showing how the carrier is worn
